Zaibunnisa Malik

Zaibunnisa Malik is the General Manager for Researchers for Change. RFC allows her to do the research she misses that is very relevant to the present time.

Zaibunnisa Malik is an undergraduate sophomore at University of Missouri Kansas City majoring in Biology with a Biomedical Emphasis and Public Health with a minor in Chemistry. She plans on going to medical school and pursue neurology or general surgery. She started research her senior year of high school where she made Fibrinogen recombinant, very similar to the story of Insulin. Zaibunnisa now does research in the educational sector of Bududa Uganda, focusing on women's empowerment for education. She is also a founder and president of a AMWA branch at her university. She loves archery, badminton, neuroscience, and just being able to unwind with a good book or movie! She plans on continuing research, which is why she is super excited to be a part of RFC.
